Sky On the Mountain

 Photographer's Note

  In Nature there is Peace

The world is in turmoil. Fires, floods, shortages, overpopulation. All I wanted for my simple family was to be free of those so many things which cannot be described nor changed. And if going to the bus stop to pick up a cherub after the school bus came, and if seeing this site as in picture above was all that we were left with in this world.....then let it be so.

In natural beauty, beyond that which words can convey nor pictures share properly, there is an inner peace for my soul. If it was in my soul, it was in my families soul.....and today, years later for most, they still speak of how they were raised in such a beautiful place. One said, it reminded them of the Garden of Eden; perhaps not. It was tho', a place no one can comprehend. For if you live in such a place, you must have a heart and eyes to see it and feel it as we did. Your mind cannot wander to war and lack of food, nor gas, nor riches. The simplicity of the moment caught in this click, is a place and time that will never happen again, yet the view will be there and the sky different from minute to minute. Peace can be yours if you wish.

In nature there is peace. Let us learn from this picture. What is it that strikes home in your heart? Do you wander for more in your life than simplicity....a place to see each time you pass it...that is what you need every day...for in "Vulcan Mountain" there are many personalities. And the skies shared them with us this day as the clouds passed overhead, granting a vision of shade close to black, and brown as in still dry grass and in the complex creation we saw that day....we were not alone...yet we had ourselves to depend on to survive. There is something greater than us. We are nothing....and nothing we shall return to ....and then we become part of this whole picture of land.....
