"Would you like that in a nice wallpaper for the sitting room Madam?"...Well then if not that then try saying my title 10 times...in Japanese, backwards.


As the sun rose on these passing flowers, I felt them tug at me....and I looked, seeing they have suffered in the long hot days of 100 degree Fahrenheit temperatures. As if they were an old aging person in a home for retirement, I stopped to talk with them for a while...perhaps for the last time. They told me of when they were young and the sun shone brightly on them and of all the people who walked by admired them. While they yearned for the older days, the seem resigned to their fate...wondering why nobody stopped any longer, which must be why they smile at me for to take their picture was an honor for them. A couple of the more hearty smiled one last day...and I walked away into the woods...down the trail with only a photo of their last days in my mind and my camera...
